The Itinerary

From the Okanagan to the Selkirks, this road trip links two of BC's emblematic regions. Hwy 97 follows Wood, Kalamalka lakes, then Vernon, Enderby, Sicamous (houseboat capital).

Revelstoke, a former CP railway town, hosts Revelstoke Mountain Resort (Canada's longest lift-served vertical drop, 1,713 m) and Mt. Revelstoke National Park (Meadows in the Sky Parkway in summer, alpine flowers). The Revelstoke Railway Museum tells the CPR construction story.
