The Itinerary

Harrison Hot Springs, 1h45 from Vancouver, is a hot springs resort at the foot of Harrison Lake. The sulphurous waters (40 °C) have drawn visitors since the 19th century. Today, the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa and the public pool offer a relaxing setting.

Harrison Lake beach is one of BC's largest freshwater beaches. The World Championships of Sand Sculpture is held here each autumn. Sasquatch Provincial Park, right next door, offers hiking and swimming. En route, stop at Bridal Veil Falls (60 m, 5-min trail).
